Happy New Year!
Today begins the year of the pig! We're celebrating at a huge party our adoption agency gives every year and many of the families who traveled to China with us will be there. Here's a picture from last year's celebration. (This is one of my favorite pics of Buttons.) I did a little search and found some recipes here and some information here and here. Buttons is a big fan of this book and when we started to talk about "CNY" she exclaimed joyfully "I eat dumplings"! Gosh, hope they have dumplings at the party.

Happy New Year, my friend! It was great to spend time with your adorable family. AND, of course your daughter enjoys having you for her Mom. Who wouldn't? You rock! Not to mention, your daughter is JUST LIKE YOU! Cracks me up! I'll be buying tickets to see her on stage for sure. Funny little girl you have there. How lucky are you?!

Second of all, do you think in all of your crafty ways, you could possibly make a size 16 in that gorgeous outfit that your daughter is wearing. My birthday is in April so you'd better get to sewing. Thanks in advance.
