The Dress of the Watermelons
Well, it took Buttons to finally get me serious about sewing. Here's my first finished sewing project completed with the very generous help of my friend "L". By the way, Buttons LOVES watermelon!

Very cute. I couldn't work a sewing machine if someone put a gun to my head. I should probably take some lessons from my Mom.

I LOVE this dress! And, I am inspired by you. I've got a couple of vintage dress patterns that I'm dying to start working on for buttercup. And, some really pretty pale blue corderoy calling to me from my stash. I'm gonna keep an eye on you for further inspiration.....
