How many times must a family get sick?

Ok, quick post to say this...Buttons is recovering from 2 ear infections, I'm on anti-biotics for some "upper-respiratory-itis" as my doctor called it and my hubby has a wicked case of the flu. Oh yeah, my mother-in-law comes to visit tomorrow for a week and the house is not really what you'd call "ready". Can I go knit now?
