Rest in Peace, Heath
No, I did not know Heath Ledger, but I felt a connection to him and I'm stunned by the news of his death. There is much speculation over the hows and whys, but I'm just saddened by this loss. My sympathies go to his family, friends and especially his 2 year-old daughter.

I do not have the connection that you do (what a great story! I love these kinds of crushes.)But I thought he was amazing in Brokeback Mountain. He was a great actor, and I looked forward to seeing how he grew. I have been saddened by the tragedy.
It is a tragedy. I was really shocked when I saw the breaking news come across on Windows Live Messenger.
I thought of you immediately, Sweethart daughter. I know how much this actor touched you and his life was way too short. I, too felt he was destined to become an icon but certainly not in this way. I know he will be missed by many, especially you.
