Happy Thanksgiving

This morning we'll be watching parades and getting ready for our trips to friends houses. We're bringing the green bean casserole and a great spicy sweet potato dish. We'll visit 2 friends homes today and we're getting excited. Tomorrow we'll put up our Christmas tree and try to avoid the crowds.

Right now, I'm going to join my family.

(The picture is of Buttons at her first concert at pre-school. Cute pilgrim, huh?)

Oh, how cute! Is that the traditional costume for Thanksgiving? I know next-to-nothing about it!

I'm not sure yet when I'll put my tree up, but I'm determined I'll have one this year. Last year, I moved flats on 18th December, so I didn't really have a chance to decorate. This year it's going to be teeny knit sweaters and socks all the way. Which reminds me, I must send you the link to that pattern!

Your Christmas tree is up already? Wow! We are still in a Tofurkey-induced food coma over here...

Love the photo of Buttons!

We avoid "Black" Friday at all costs. Nothing that important for me to crawl out of warm bed at oooo-dark hundred. We all sat around drinking coffee and telling stories until the middle of the afternoon. And in our pajamas!!! As for the tree, well this could very well be the first year. We want the girls to experience both religions. Sooo, it should be interesting for daddy. I've been threatening for years to decorate like the Grizzwalds!!
