Were the veggies grown in your garden? Nothing better than home grown veggeis.
Oh, I wish. We joined a CSA (community shared agriculture or crop share agreement) this year. We buy a share at the beginning of the season and then every week we pick up new produce. And it's so yummy.
Those peppers are soooo cute!! Now, when you get a CSA, do you really only get, like, 2 ears of corn? Whenever I see these pics, I wonder if folks have just posted a pic of an example of what is offered - or if you really only get 2 ears of corn/one zucchini etc. Isn't this supposed to last a family for 2 weeks?
Oh man, we have 12 ears of corn, 2 to 3 large zucchinis, 1 or 2 cucumbers, 6 tomatoes, 10 potatoes, etc. We get a box every week and we're never finished with all the goodies before the next box comes along.
This looks positively wonderful.
The CSA sounds like a good thing.
